not too long ago, tim and i caught the darjeeling limited
pretty goood and wes anderson's style as we like it.

this commercial is quite old. there's also Jason Schwartzman in it.



i remember first seeing jason in rushmore. and i loved him in it..
the other one was i heart huckabees which was awesome as well. he was an environmental activist in that one. writing poems about this rock that was about to be removed. 'you rock, rock. no one sits like you do, rock...' hah

if you don't know by now, i was promoted 2 weeks ago.
unlike the first promotion i had, this wasn't as exciting.
yes, no doubt i'm grateful for that increment.. but i also knew what i was headed for.
and i was right.

since the promotion, i haven't been home before 1am.
even then, when i get home, my mind cant get to rest until 5am.
sigh.
busy months ahead, february, march and most certainly april and may.

that aside, i'm pretty psyched up for school.
applications start in february! oh man oh man
but the new semester only starts in july.. which is good. so i have more time to save up ka-ching! and not be bounded to a huge loan.

money is such a big issue all the time. :/

On my very first week on this current job of mine, a colleague said to me, after 3 years you'll definitely put on some weight.

And its true! I have put on quite some weight!

Thanks to the countless suppers and all that sitting down.

Now its 4.30am and very hungry...
It doesn't help that I'm looking at a food blog. GAH

Just so you'll feel hungry with me.. ha

2008 has been good so far.
Relationships are strengthening. I'm getting closer to God, Tim's family, and some colleagues at work. However, time with the family hasn't really been increasing. Gotta work on that.

Work, falls a little short. Though there is the promotion (yay?), workload just keeps increasing. Guess it could also mean that since I'm promoted, I should take on more responsibility? Satisfaction level is pretty low for me now..

Think SIMS. Thats me with the red light over my head.

Is it really worth staying for the money?
Well, I need the money for school when/if I start in July. I was told to REN. And REN I will.
