origami madness

today i spent 40mins trying to figure out how to fold an owl.
the end product was quite messy but it still looks like a decent owl

nic and i were gushing on and on about how awesome it would be to incorporate origami into
design, packaging, whatever.

and i just found another way to use it.. in a music video!

over the last 5 days

- i had soo many mushrooms at a mushroom restaurant. i swear my pee smelled like mushrooms

- i met baby amos, son of ah loong. he IS the cutest tiniest thing ever.

- i also met one too many nude statues of all proportions at the greek sculpture exhibition from lourve.

- i realise that having a good breakfast is divine.

- and that jumper is a rubbish movie.

woke up feeling lethargic today..
and with lotsa things on my mind.
family... application for school.. and work..
the first one weighing the most on my mind
and i feel dreadful about work partly because i cant be around
with my family at night.
its really dreadful because problems arise/get resolved whenever i'm not around
when its finally the weekend and i'm home, all i get are bits and pieces of updates.

i'm pretty thankful for cny, because i get to be around this time.
and it seems like we'll be talking it out over lunch on sunday..
all i can do now, is pray that everyone will voice out their concerns in a loving manner

6th day of CNY

happy chinese new year people!

this is kinda late.. but those who know me will know that its better late than never. heh
plus its not the end of cny yet! hah

this cny was pretty fun because i actually managed to spend all 4 days with my family. which is awesome. we were playing blackjack non stop just cause it was fun. screaming, shouting and laughing non-stop i tell you.

and after a good 8day break off work, i'll be going back tomorrow. urgh.
i'm looking forward to applying for school. will need to call up my poly for the transcripts because i seriously cant remember getting them at all.

tim is also applying for his scholarship to the Buffalo this week. i hope it goes well for him. seeing him getting all stressed up makes me feel :S and i cant really do much except to cheer him up every now and then

i should get sleeping soon because i'm hella tired. but if i do... it just means that the next time i open my eyes.. i'll hafta get back to work. urgghh.. i'm so dreading the thought of going back. please come soon July! so i can go back to school!
