What's happening so far

So, my first attempt at making my book cover didn't really go quite well.

The measurements were wrong..
I used double sided tape instead of white glue. Hence, the paper didn't quite stick to the grey board (for the hard cover) properly..
Wrong type of paper was used.. so the ink came out when the paper was creased.
I also didn't cut the board properly, and my cover came out a little crooked.

OH MAN.
this is so tough.
especially with deadlines coming down on me

Anyway, school has been interesting so far.
We're studying art history at the moment,
and our lecturer is this elderly lady who can get pretty emotional sometimes. haha

While talking about the different art movements,
she'll also inject a few of her own views.
Very often she'll compared it to her own beliefs about religion..
because we all know how art and religion can be so closely knitted sometimes
like:
'I'm not christian, so I don't think this should be done..'
'I don't believe in Jesus..'

This is probably the first time I've ever heard someone say that so forthrightly.
So I didn't quite know how to react to it.
I guess the only thing I can do is to pray for her.

---

Anyway, right now I've segmented the 10 months ahead of me.
here goes:

Mid Oct - end of school.. and my trip to the states

Dec - Christmas!

Jan - CNY

Mid Feb - end of 2nd semester

End Mar - our sch trip to melbourne

End May - return of the ferret

Mid-end June - graduation show

with all these different segments,
time will most definitely pass very quickly as I'll be looking forward to the next segment as soon as one passes.
Of course, I'll also be super busy in between too.

School/Part time/Freelance/Ballet/Church

Pray that I'll be able to manage my time properly and keep my priorities right.
This is going to be one longggg marathon

Tim's been away for about 11 days now.

I bought my ticket to Buffalo 5 days ago.

And it'll be 55 more days before I see his silly face again.

I need to get one of this!

Speaking of book purchases,
I hope you've been to the Borders book fair last weekend.
I bought 6 books for S$38.
Very worth it!!!
3 hard covers and 3 paper backs!
I'm soo soooo happy with my buys.
