Just so you know

I'm not too sure if anyone actually reads this blog besides Tim and I. haha

Anyway, here's some music I listen to in the wee hours of the night.
Either to keep me awake or to wind me down for sleep.
These are probably the few that I've been rotating about each night.
(I checked the play count in my iTunes)

Lets just put it as the Top 5 albums to listen to at 2am:

1)

Rilo Kiley – More adventurous
Awesome voice here. You must check this one out if you haven't already.
'I never' is especially appealing if you enjoy jazzy numbers.
I've been playing this non-stop for awhile now.

2)

Wilco – Sky blue sky
Melancholic and moody, not something to listen to if you're feeling down.
But just listen to it anyway, it is beautiful. haha.
I especially enjoy the last track. Definitely be looking out for their next album
Jeff Tweedy is the man.

3)

DJ Kawasaki – Beautiful
I hardly listen to house music.
But this one totally rocks. Slightly jazzy, I can listen to this all damn day.
What else can I say.. ah. very chill lar~

4)

Foo Fighters - The colour and the shape
Its Foo Fighters. Whats there not to like.
This is probably my favourite album.

5)

Jadon Lavik - Roots run deep, a collection of hymns
Jadon sings these hymns so beautifully..
I especially like how Amazing Grace was done.
Hymns with a modern touch. If it is your thing.

I could make it top 10. But I'll leave it as 5 for now :)

btw

Is it Christmas?

Man stroke woman

I've been really fascinated with this British sketch show of late.
Some of the sketches are super hilarious!
Like this one:

Back and not loving it.

It's been 3 weeks since I returned from that 2 weeks of pure fun and joy.
3 weeks and 5 days to be exact. I could definitely be more exact but it'll only make me more depressed.

Since then, I've been busy with school assignments, church commitments and work. The usual.
yadda yadda yadda

First of all, to answer the questions on everyone's minds, if I haven't already answered:

Yes, he proposed.
Yes, I said YES
Yes, I was very surprised
No, there was no flowers
Yes, there is a ring.
No, it did not take place in Taco Bells
Yes, I am very happy
Yes, 2010 will be realistic

As of now, no concrete plans about the wedding yet as we're both still studying.
But once we both graduate in mid 2009, ho ho, we will plan plan away!

I think I've talked about the proposal to more than 10 people.
Thanks for asking everyone!
Really glad to be sharing this joy with you lot..
Do continue to pray for Tim and I as it is tough being apart (6 more months :/) and it will be even tougher when we finally do get married.

For now, back to more msn and skype.
I need to get through christmas, new years and valentines.
He needs to get through 5 months of insane snow.
We need to continue being thankful to God for everything

:)
